The Karnataka PUC Results, also known as the Karnataka II PU Results 2016 hold a special significance for the students of Karnataka as this is the Karnataka Class 12 Results which determine in which stream of education would a student pursue his / her undergraduate career in and get admission in a University.

The Department of Pre University Examination, Karnataka, is expected to declare the results of Pre University Certification Examination (PUC II), which is conducted for Class 12th students, Karnataka PU Results on 25th May 2016 at 11AM. The Karnataka II PU Results is announced for a total of around 7 Lakh students. The Karnataka Class 12 Result i.e. Karnataka PUC Result 2016 will be announced on 25th May 2016 at 11AM and the fate of nearly 7 Lakh students will be decided as the PU Board releases the II PU Results 2016. The Karnataka II PUC exams 2016 were conducted from 11 - 28 March, 2016 and were written by 6,40,033 students (3,29,187 are boys + 3,10,846 girls.)

For the academic year, 2014-2015, the result was announced on 18 May 2015 As many as 6,10,323 Karnataka students appeared for 2nd PUC exam last year. Of the total students who appeared for the exam, around 3,69,474 students passed Karnataka PUC exam. Thus, the Karnataka II PU pass percentage was reported as 60.54%. In the 2015 Karnataka PUC results the girls had outshined the boys with the pass percentage of 68.24% as against 53.09%.

The government body, “Department of Pre-University Education (PUE)” is responsible for the delivery of higher secondary education in Karnataka. PUE Karnataka will be conducting the 2nd year Pre-University Course’s (PUC) exams from 11 March, 2016 onward.
